Ami + Riley,
Ami and Riley had the same exact birthday and were born in the same hospital. It was clear from the day I met them that their love story couldn’t get any better. Their wedding was one of our favorites to capture because of their sweet connection and the stunning beauty of Slide Rock State Park.
We started our day taking getting ready photos of the girls at Amara Resort in uptown Sedona. The gals were so stunning and easy to photograph in their adorable robes! I loved Ami’s hair and makeup by Carrie Kacen. After the finishing touches by Carrie, Ami opened her sweet gift and love note from her soon to be husband.
The guys got ready pretty quickly and headed over to Slide Rock State Park to prepare for the wedding ceremony. The ceremony and reception were beautifully set up by a company called Cloth and Flame. After a few photos of the guys and the ceremony site, the girls arrived. Ami & Riley did their first look in a beautiful garden on the property followed by the first look with Ami’s Dad. I loved their blindfold idea and the look on Rileys face when he turned around!
The ceremony was so sweet and surrounded by beauty + love! After the marriage was license signed, more group photos and Bride + Groom photos commenced. Okay, let’s skip to the party. The outdoor setup was flawless and the bridal party danced their way along the grounds to their seats as the DJ announced them in. I loved the dusk lighting paired with the twinkling lights! XOXO. The first dance and father-daughter / mother-son dances literally brought tears to my eyes. After heartfelt blessings and toasts and a feast to remember, the music got louder and the dance party started taking off!
Kaleo and I had a blast and we always feel so blessed to be able to photograph special days like this one!
