Ami + Riley in Flagstaff, AZ: Engagement Photoshoot

This engagement photoshoot at Mt. Humphreys was magical! Kaleo and I met up with Ami + Riley at Macy’s Cafe in Flagstaff. We had such wonderful conversations getting to know each other. They are both from Arizona. They were born in the same hospital, on the same day!!! HOW COOL + ROMANTIC IS THAT?! They realized this after they met and started dating in high school. After high school, they moved to Kansas together for college. Eventually, they found their way to back to AZ, and are super excited to get married in beautiful Sedona, Arizona!

Once we got our caffeine fix and a bite to eat, we ventured up towards Humphrey’s Peak to do a beautiful, sunset, engagement photoshoot nestled amongst the wildflower meadows and pine and aspen forests! They had mentioned they had never gotten professional photos in the 7 years they have been together thus far. Kaleo and I were stoked that we got to break that statistic for them! We loved photographing these two because they are both so sweet and down to earth. We especially enjoyed witnessing their transformation from being a bit unsure of themselves in front of the camera, to warming up, and finally just OWNING the spotlight. The love they share is so obvious and made it a breeze to photograph, I mean just look at these photos!

We feel honored to be able to photography their upcoming wedding in Sedona, AZ. It will be a wedding filled with love and beauty. We are so excited for them and their family!
