Kaleo and I were so excited to photograph this surprise proposal! Mitch had reached out a week before to see if we were available to photograph his proposal at Enchantment Resort. Lucky for us, we were! We planned the location and timing with Mitch, and were waiting for them on the Boynton Canyon Lawn. We were acting like a lovey, dovey couple so she wouldn’t know we were there to photograph their special proposal.
As they walked up, we got our cameras ready to capture the moment. Mitch was looking super dapper as he got down on one knee, and she super cute in that white romper. Once she realized what was happening, Hannah was so surprised and happy. AND she said, “YES!”
We came to find out that Hannah didn’t even know that she was going to be on a plane to Arizona that morning, let alone staying at a Sedona Resort. Mitch not only surprised her with the trip for their third year anniversary, but he also got away with a flawless, surprise proposal!
Halfway through the photoshoot, a beautiful doe decided to stop by and offer her blessings to the newly engaged couple. The deer seemed so relaxed and comfortable and kept getting closer, as if she couldn’t overcome her curiosity. We all could not believe it, and we all agreed that it was a good omen!
We want to offer a big congratulations to the happy couple. Kaleo and I will be wishing you all the best in the years to come. It was an honor to be able to capture this special moment of yours, and hope you had an amazing time vacationing and celebrating at the gorgeous Enchanment Resort, with its with stunning Sedona red rock views. And its all the prettier with that new ring on her finger!
